1. One million of souls for Christ.
The program of one million of souls for Christ is an evangelization task that began in January of this year, with all of the members of the church. It consist that each member of the congregation wins 50 souls for the Lord Jesus Christ, in order to pray for them and their families, give them doctrine and giving the foundation until they are firm in the faith (discipleship).
The members of the congregation gladly took this project, and have put all of their effort and commitment to reach this goal, wining even more souls for Christ each day.
2. Acquiring the place for the million souls.
At the same time with the task of wining a million souls for Christ, one of the more ambitious projects of the church is to acquire an place for a great gathering of one million people and that way proclaim the wonders of God in Bogota and in our country.
In the other side, along with these two projects, BETHESDA MISSIONARY CENTER church has an evangelism department of people who want to serve the Lord and the community, giving the good news of the gospel:
“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"”

Beginning with this foundation the department not only has the task of evangelization, but also is in charge of the discipleship of the persons and families that has just born again, and to visit those who are sick fulfilling the bible’s command.
Like the pastors Enrique and Melida Gomez, the members of the church have focused in the dream that the crowds of people come to Christ.

Under this faith proclamation slogan starts 2004, great and marvelous surprises God had for his people that year.
When this slogan was revealed to the servant of God by the Holy Spirit it was like Him saying: You go for big projects this year that I will support you, and it has been that way, two great simultaneous events have happened.
Two transcendental events for the church in God’s work
We exalt the Name of the Lord

He received the promise from God that we were going to have a church of one million souls in Bogotá, and it is this way that now we are doing an evangelization process that brings this million souls to the feet of Christ.
It is necessary for you to be part of this project. Each day brings a new person to the church. We have a goal, and it is that each of us should bring 50 souls during the year, it is not difficult if we contribute with the reaching of this challenge: “Colombia for Christ”
The evangelism is one of the main standards, and the most important to the church, our wish is that multitudes come to the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that is the reason much resources have been invested to see that goal accomplished for the glory and honor of Jesus the Lord.
One of the promises and slogan given by God at the beginning of that year was: “2004 THE YEAR OF THE GREAT ABUNDANCE” and beginning with this principle we have started the evangelistic labor, as never seen in the former years.
As preparation for this great crusade, in July the 12Th 2004 the members of BETHESDA MISSIONARY CENTER and pastor Enrique and Melida Gomez joined to celebrate a precious and historical act that was the inauguration of “the ground of the Million”, a very spacious place where the building of the coliseum is projected to give place for a million souls.
There for the glory of God, will be held evangelistic crusades and we know that the Lord will send many men of God from all over the world to come to preach the Word under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The opening day were held the first baptisms in this place and something beautiful was made and was:
The entire multitude marched around the ground proclaiming the victory of the people of God, receiving by faith the city of Bogotá for Christ, as it was in Joshua’s time.
There is a great cry in the servant of God and it is to see each day more redeemed who get to know the living God, so that they love and serve Him and that each corner of this Colombian territory get flooded with the word of God’s power.
To do that they were not short in efforts but dedicated their own lives with the collaboration of his wife, and their desire that their life time will be dedicated up to the last breathe to work for the evangelization of this nation.
The ground of the million states as a great victory for the people of God that has seen their efforts to come true in a magnificent work dedicated with love and reverence to the only Sovereign, King of kings and Lord of lords. A promise come truth that promotes and strengthens even more the faith. To Him is the Glory.
