Nineth Campaign

An event that shocked the Missionary Center and the church in general, was the shepherd Enrique Gómez's kidnapping , on February at Wednesday 14, 2001 in the Apulo Cundinamarca's neighbour population.

It was a painful experience that he suffered, for his wife and children. It was also for their spiritual children, not only those congregated in Bethesda Missionary Center, also those spiritually are nourished through the radio and television programs.

At the middle of this difficult situation, God spilled an unity's spirit inside christian people, it was a continuous and fervent clamour on the day and night in the churches and through the radio and television had an unimaginable back of God's people, fact that comforted the hearts, encouraged the people's faith, to continue praying and expecting the confirmed victory by God through its Word.

In answer to the praises of God's people and the execution of given promises, on August Saturday 14, the Lord gave the victory and the shepherd recovered his freedom. During six months was seen continued God's hand working marvelously. After this painful captivity the Lord placed in the shepherd's heart more passion to preach Christ and this has taken him to be a pioneer of the big massive events of evangelizing and where have registered thousands of conversions to Christ Jesus. For that reason Holy Bible says:

"And we know that all things work together fot good to those who love God, those who are the called according to His purpose" Romans 8:28

For that reason eight days later the Lord's church rejoined in the Bolivar's Place for a great meeting of thanks action, for this victory granted to its church, which was painful, but where the faith increased.
