STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments are the only inspired, infallible Word of God. That the Holy Bible was written by holy men divinely inspired by the Holy Ghost and is God's revelation of Himself to man.  The Scriptures are for instruction and are supreme and the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and life. 1Cor.1:10; Acts.2:42;Eph. 4:13.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to mankind, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason ( 2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2),  inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to man's problems.

We believe in one true and living God. The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed "I AM" and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, i.e., Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29;  Matthew 28:19). For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things and that He created everything out of nothing for His own pleasure and purpose.

The Holy Trinity, one God, true and living, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness; the Maker and Preserver of all things visible and invisible. And that in the unity of this Godhead there be three Persons, of one substance, power and eternity: the Father who is made of none, neither created nor begotten; the Son who is of the Father alone, not made nor created, but begotten, the Holy Ghost who is of the Father and the Son, neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding. Matt.3:16; Luke.3:21; Gen.1:26, 11:7; Is. 6:8; 2Cor.13:14. They are equal in every divine attribute, and execute distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. Deut. 6:13-15, John 4:24, Jere. 10:10-13, Psa. 93:2, Mala. 3:6, Rom. 11:33-36 Psa. 139:1-18, I Pet. 1:16, Matt. 28:19, I John 5:7, Dan. 4:34-35, John 17:2 John.1:18, 15:26, 17:11-26; Zech.14:9; John.5:17-30, 8:17-18; 1Cor. 12:36.

God the Father We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 5:48; Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; Nehemiah 9:6; Hebrews 1:2-3; Psalm 103:19; Ephesians 1:11; 1 Kings 8:27; and Psalm 90:2)

Man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5 we can have a personal relationship with God through salvation, God's free gift to man. It is not a result of what we do, but it is only available through God's unearned favor. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and accepting Him as Lord, we can spend eternity with God. The grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, and, being justified by grace through faith, he becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 2:11; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 23:47; Titus 3:5-7). The "inward" evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The "outward" evidence of his salvation to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.

Sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God's character to be developed in us. The Scriptures teach a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. By the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command, "Be ye holy, for I am holy." Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God's Word (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; 1 John 2:6).

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God's will. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:29; Acts 1:4; 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31). This wonderful experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Acts 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9). In the baptism of believers as a unique work of the Holy Ghost—an evidence of which is the speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance (Acts 2:4). The manifestation of speaking in other tongues, in this instance, is the same in essence as the gift of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:4-10, 28) but different in purpose and use.

Divine healing is active in the lives of people today through Jesus, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17).

The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:33).

A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a twofold purpose: The evangelization of the world, and the edifying of the Body of Christ Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13, Matt. 28:18-20; Heb. 12:23.

The Rapture, the personal, pre-tribulation, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the redeemed at the pre-millennial return of Christ for His church, when the souls and spirits of those who have died will be reunited with their bodies, now immortal, and that believers who are alive at that time, their bodies likewise transformed into immortality, will be caught up together with them to meet Christ in the air, ever to be with Him. Titus 2:13, Matt. 24:36; Acts. 1:6-7; 2 Thess. 2:1-4. Also we believe that the church won't go by The Great Tribulation. 1 Thess. 4:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:52; Rom. 8:23.

The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4), a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26). It is enjoined on all believers "until He comes."

We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. The ordinance of baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures, by all who have repented and in their hearts have truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they have the body washed in pure water as an outward symbol of cleansing, while their heart has already been sprinkled with the blood of Christ as an inner cleansing. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk Matt. 28:19; Mark.16:16; Acts. 2:38.

What we reject and do not believe: All man-made dogma, any teaching that is contrary to the Word of God. Any teaching that goes beyond what the Bible says. Any teaching or religion that propagates good works as a means for salvation.. Any teaching or religion that adds to or deletes from what is written in the Bible. Any teaching that denies the Trinity. Any teaching that denies the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Pet. 2:1; Gal. 5:20; Titus. 2:1, 3:10; 2 John. 2:10.
